Hopewell Valley Rec Soccer Player Registration - Spring Program
Spring 2018 Registration will open on March 1st The Hopewell Valley Soccer Association (HVSA) will soon be accepting program registrations for the Spring 2018 season. Registration and payment must be done using our online registration system. Click on "Register" button at the bottom of this page to begin the registration process (starting March 1st).
Age determines what program a player can register for. Age is determined by the player's age on August 1, 2017 (For PRE-K Program, players must be at least 3 years old as of 4/1/18)
Consistent with new Youth Soccer directives, head balls are no longer permitted in HVSA Rec Soccer games or practices.
Player Assessments (Divisions 2 & 3 Only)
D2 and D3 will hold assessments April 15th, the first day of the season. 20 minutes per grade, starting at the following times:
D2G 2nd grade assessment will start at Independence Park 1:00, 3rd grade at 1:20, 4th grade at 1:40
D2B 2nd grade assessment will start at Independence Park 2:00, 3rd grade at 2:20, 4th grade at 2:40
D3B 5th grade assessment will start at Independence park at 3:00, 6th grade at 3:20, 7th and 8th grade at 3:40
D3G 5th grade assessment will start at Independence park at 4:00, 6th grade at 4:20, 7th and 8th grade at 4:40
Expected Schedule (April 15 thru June 17)
Pre-K Division Two options (1:30-2:15 or 2:30-3:15)
Division 1 Boys 1:15-2:45
Division 1 Girls 3:00-4:30
Division 2 Boys 2:40, 3:45 & 4:50
Division 2 Girls 2:40, 3:45 & 4:50
Division 3 Girls 12:30
Division 3 Boys 12:30 & 1:35
Games are played on Sunday afternoons beginning on April 15 through June 17, 2018. Games will not be played on May 27th, Memorial Day Weekend. There are no practices.
A schedule will be provided after teams are formed.

Equipment Notes Shin guards are mandatory in all Divisions. Shirts only will be provided. Proper gym shorts, socks and footwear are the responsibility of the players.
Act C.5:18-1 passed by the Senate and General assembly of the State of New Jersey states that any child that wears corrective eyeglasses while participating in soccer shall be required to wear protective eyewear that meets the frame standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ATSM) F803 and the lens standards of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z87.1. Refer to this site for more information.
No forms of jewelry are allowed on a player with the only exceptions of religious or medical bracelets, which must be properly taped to the player’s body. This includes all forms of piercing.
Volunteers The HVSA always needs board members, coaches, assistant coaches, and referees. If you would like to participate in one of these capacities, please indicate this when registering online.
